Patricia Peters began her career with Supportive Alternative Living as a direct caregiver in 1994 and has served as Executive Director since 2005. Before coming to S.A.L., she filled many roles with Special Olympics Michigan, as coach of the basketball, soccer and hockey teams, valued volunteer, and finally, Assistant Area Director. Patricia won the Macomb-Oakland Regional Center Angels Among Us Award in 2007, and in 2009 was named the ARC Provider of the Year. She was honored to be nominated for the 2013 Citizen of the Year Award by the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce. As a native Michigander, wife and proud mother of four beautiful children of her own, Patricia is passionately driven to provide the family-style, caring environment that each and every S.A.L. client deserves.

Laura has been an attorney since 1988. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree (with honors) and from Wayne State University with a Juris Doctorate degree (cum laude)
Peter Ulrich is President/CEO and Founder of JRM Associates Real Estate Advisors, Ltd. (Chicago). He also is a Managing Member and co-founder of Chicago Celtic Capital, LLC. By way of these organizations, Peter provides Capital Market Services (debt and equity) to his clientele as they build capital structures for investment in, or development of, commercial real estate assets throughout the United States (capital sourced is both domestic and international.)
In addition to his role on the Board of Supportive Alternative Living, Inc., Peter has also extended support for Misericordia Heart of Mercy (Chicago), Children’s Oncology Services, Inc. (Chicago), Team Joseph, Inc. (Commerce Township, MI), Northwestern University Dance Marathon (Evanston, IL), Sheil Catholic Center at Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) and he is the Senior Advisor to a Professional Mentoring organization at Northwestern University (Evanston, IL). Peter is a graduate of Western Michigan University and resides with his family in Evanston, IL.
